Smutketeers Holiday Review Extravaganza!

Happy Holidays!! To get in the mood, (for X-Mas silly, what did you think I meant?) I decided to read and review the Holiday offerings from the Smutketters. Eden Bradley, Robin L. Rotham, and R.G. Alexander have written a trio of intertwined holiday stories that are hot enough to melt the snow we got here last night! So sit back and enjoy!

First up we have:

The Smutketeers Present: A Kinky Christmas Carol!

The Knight Family is a wealthy, powerful Chicago clan that knows everything there is to know about making money—but they have plenty to learn about love. In this three series novella—Eden Bradley's Getting Scrooged, Robin L Rotham's Not So Tiny Tim and R.G. Alexander's Marley in Chains—you’ll meet Holly Knight, her nephew Tim, and her cousin Marley Knight-Williams as they face their ghosts, fulfill their fantasies and finally discover the magic of Christmas.

Blinded to the present…

Holly Knight doesn’t have time for Christmas. As the head of Knight Enterprises in Chicago, she doesn’t have time for anything, not even a personal life—other than her brief, secret liaisons with men who remain strangers. Until a new stranger comes to town…

Ebenezer Hall is a ‘closer’. His job: negotiate a merger with a woman who is as notorious for being a hard-ass as he is for being a charmer no one can resist—and he’s not above mixing business with pleasure as long as it’ll get him what he wants.

The chemistry is sizzling hot, and things get even hotter when Ben’s friends and long-time lovers Justin and Kit arrive in Chicago. Three gorgeous men are even more exciting than one, and Holly’s body is sated in ways she’s never even dreamed of. But she can’t allow herself to be distracted for long—her priority is always business…and protecting her heart.

Can an infamous playboy and a hard-hearted corporate mogul ever admit to their heart’s desires? Or will it take a little holiday magic for them to realize that all they want for Christmas is each other?

Warning: Contains all ingredients for the perfect kinky holiday: Three men demonstrating blow-job techniques—on each other—because the author couldn’t resist. Neither can Holly. Neither will you. A little sensual domination, because Ben can’t resist. Neither can Holly. Or Justin. Or Kit. Put it all together with some Christmas magic and mix—vigorously. Served hot. Best enjoyed with a side of sex toys.

I knew I wanted to read these stories from the beginning! I mean, put aside that they are some of my favorite authors writing them. A nice kinky twist on a Holiday Classic is just what I needed to jump start my holiday spirit! When you add in the "oh so mysterious" Mr. Frost, who seems to be everywhere and know all, the stage is set!

A drunken bucket list! Only Eden Bradley could think of a twist like that. This story was hot from the get go.  A heroine who devoted her life to business and only indulged herself with meaningless sexual encounters. A hero who is so hot he was scorching my Kindle, with an English accent to boot. (I have a serious lust for a man with an accent)  I couldn't put it down. As he made the items on her list come true I was torn between "awww, so sweet" and "conniving jerk"  Being sneaky and underhanded to get what you want never ends well.

For a novella (more than a short story, less than a full length novel) there was a lot packed into this awesome story. I wanted Holly to wake up and smell the pine trees. I wanted Ben to stop and realize he was doomed for a crash and burn. I finished it and was immediately ready to get to the next installment. You see, even though they are 3 different stories by 3 different authors, they all overlap.  So onto the next:

Avoiding the future…

Video game mogul, philanthropist and heir to the Knight empire, Tim Crichton has three F-zones—the friend zone, the family zone, and the, er… fun-buddy zone. No crossover is allowed because it might create a fourth—the forever zone—and Tim knows forever just isn't in the cards for him.

Miranda Girard has always known she and Tim were meant to be together, but when she got tired of waiting and made a move, he rejected her. Now it’s time for their Christmas reunion dinner and she’s damn well going to put on a happy face and attend—after she stops at the bar for a little liquid courage.

Peter Vaughn can’t wait for his new house to be finished so he can move out of Tim’s apartment—living with a man he wants and can’t have gets old quick. But work on the house has ground to a halt and he’s stuck there until after the new year.

It all seems hopeless until a jolly old doorman nudges Peter and Miranda together, and a little Christmas magic quickly escalates to a scorching holiday encounter that will either rescue Tim from a lonely future…or cost him the two most important people in his life.

Now we get to meet Tim, Holly's nephew.  Here is a man who knows what he wants and tells you. But don't get too attached to him because he is all about fun with no entanglements! Once again the mysterious Mr. Frost makes many appearances. There is something in Tim's past that keeps him from letting anyone get too close. (not gonna tell you what, just go read it) Miranda finally gets up enough nerve to lay it on the line and she is rejected. Mutual friend Peter steps in and the results are not what anyone imagined.

Tim is a player. But he is upfront and never  pretends to be anything other than what he is. I wanted to kill him. Stubborn man, ready to throw away his chance at happiness. I ached for poor Miranda, but not for long because once Peter enters the picture I was in love! I don't know where these authors get these ideas but I am damn glad that they do! As I dove into the second installment of this kinky X-mas tale, I was just tickled at how they were twisting this classic tale into a modern day kink fest. The romantic twists and turns kept my attention and made me want more!

*deep breath* And onto the final installment in this holiday fantasy.

Running from the past…

Marley Knight-Williams has avoided the ghosts of her past for seventeen years. Now, after one thoughtless decision and too many margaritas, they’ve found her. Her memories, her heartache…and her men. Just in time for the holidays.

Boxer and gym owner Michael O’Shea is at the end of his rope. When his best friend Carlos comes home from serving his country, he’s a changed man—broken and wounded, inside and out. Michael knows there is only one person who can bring him back, one person who can make this a

Christmas they will all remember. And he’ll do whatever it takes to bring her around.

Even if he has to break out the chains.

Time has changed them all, but it’s only banked the embers of their passion, and when the flames flare to life, they burn hotter than ever. Will the heat be enough to sear away the obstacles that stand between them? Or will it drive them apart before they can finish what they started all those years ago?

Warning: These characters shocked the author...Just sayin’…Menage and explicit sex. Schoolboy fantasies given a kinky adult twist. Voyeurism and exhibitionism. Spin the bottle, spanking, dirty sexting, and chains. Pervertable use of a poor innocent cane. Romance and magic and holiday love. With special guest appearances by Bob, Other Bob and Better Bob.

The Knight cousin, Marley, has her own past that she runs from. She fills her life with nothing much more than taking care of Holly's business. A heroine avoiding a heartbreaking past. Yay! Tormented and emotionally damaged heroes. I do love to read about those damaged men who still go after what they want in the way that only true alpha heroes do. Oh yeah!

Ok, I am not exactly a newbie to Ms. Alexander's brand of hot and kinky. She is the very first Smutketeer I evah read. Of course I eagerly jumped into her offering in this wonderful holiday trilogy.

So confession: She actually made me blush. I about swooned with delight reading this story. Oh R.G., you may have outdone yourself this time.

The perfect ending to this already superb trilogy, I started this one with much anticipation. In the previous two stories we were given teasing details to whet our appetite. This story has it all. It was love at first word. And can I just say that Mr. Frost was one of my favorites! That mischevious little man meddled and stuck his nose in other people's business like it was his job. Hmmm...maybe it was?

I'll never tell.

I am so glad I treated myself to an early holiday present and read these books.

5 Stars for ALL of them!
So have you had the chance to read these fun holiday stories? What did YOU think? Tell me in the comments.
