I will be giving away an e-copy (Amazon Gifted) of this story. So if you didn't win a copy from Randi yesterday, there's still a chance to read this awesome story. Don't forget to comment to win, leaving your email. Enjoy the review.
I am so excited about today’s book!!!!! We are returning to the Old West Casino in Las Vegas. This is the second book in the Cowboy Jackpot series set in the month of love. So let’s get to the review of Cowboy Jackpot Valentines Day by Randi Alexander. I had the pleasure of reviewing the first book in the series too, so if you haven’t had a chance to check out Cowboy Jackpot Christmas give it a tryJ
This time around we are back at the casino for Boone and Gigi’s bachelor and bachelorette parties, but the book is all about how Dallas and Kira fall in love. Dallas and Kira were both introduced to us in the first book so we know a little bit about them already.
Dallas is bronc rider
that has had his heart and trust in woman broken. He’s cranky and just can’t seem
to trust Kira. Kira is a woman who wants to win Dallas’ heart and will ride hard for the full
8 seconds to win his love and trust. She also has a secret of her own to share
not even, Gigi, her best friend isn’t aware of, but it comes out in the end.
Will everything work out when all the chips are on the table?
As the title suggests Dallas and Kira win a Jackpot and have to decide who gets the money or if they share the money. This brings out
distrustful nature and makes Kira want to break through all those barriers to
love her. I must mention that the set up for the next book in the series is
excellent. I can not wait to see what will happen with Jayden and Stormie!
There were also a few new characters we were introduced to in this book. Rance
and Taylor really stuck out to me and I will let the begging commence…….PLEASE,
PLEASE, PLEASE tell me there is a book in the works for these two! They were
hilarious and I must know their story
Dallas and Kira go through the wringer to get their relationship started. This story has emotional ups and downs, hot sex scenes and a little humor thrown in the mix. In my opinion that makes for a great book. I can’t believe you can fit it all in a short story, but Randi Alexander did and she did a wonderful job. She can tell a great short story! I give Cowboy Jackpot Valentine’s Day 5 stars.
