A stalker is still lurking in the shadows, plotting evil amidst the distraction of the 2012 Olympic games in London.
Brynne and Ethan are on the cusp of losing everything as the stakes rise. Will they yield to circumstances beyond their control or will they give every ounce of fight they have left to save each other and win the ultimate prize of a life together?
Eyes Wide Open is a passion-wrought story that shows us what pure love can achieve when tested and what the heart can accomplish despite danger and adversity.
SWOON! Ethan has been added to the list as one of my all time fav Book Boyfriends. I fell in lust with him in Naked. Wanted to kill him but fell in love with him in All In and now in Eyes Wide Open he has cemented his status. Ms. Raine has written a trilogy that is going into my all time fav/re-read shelf.
For this last installment, I was so excited to finish this trilogy I devoured it all in one sitting. Talk about a roller coaster ride. I was wrung out by the time I finished this book. I have to admit, I guessed fairly early on who the baddie was in this one. The inkling was there in book one for me. But was cemented in book 2. So I wasn't surprised by the revealing. How we got to the revealing, now that is a whole other story.
Let us not forget how steamy the romance is. If I could have switched places with Brynne, I would. In a HEARTBEAT. Although I am a very strong willed woman, I would do whatever Ethan said, whenever he said it and however he wanted me to do it. He. Is. That. Hot.
Something happens in Eyes Wide Open that slayed me. I literally had to stop reading for a bit. Good thing I didn't have access to Ms. Raine at that moment or I would have had a few strong words to say to her. If you want to be taken, shaken, turned upside down, made furious, cry, then laugh and swoon, please by all means read this book. It is the perfect ending to an engrossing trilogy.
If you haven't read any of these books, do it. Now. They must be read in order and all three are worth it.
