Reviews: Evanescent and Infinity

Today I am doing a post combining two reviews. They are for the last two book in The Chronicles of Nerissette. I posted the review for the first book, Everlast, HERE. I loved the chance to read this wonderful trilogy and over all give it a solid 4 stars. I hope you enjoy the reviews for Evanescent and Infinity!

Trapped in the deadly land of Nerissette, Allie has all but given up on any return to the mortal realm. Unless she can find the two elusive artifacts that have the power to get her and her friends back home.

But she’s got even bigger problems as the newly crowned queen of Nerissette: she must unite her people in the midst of a civil war and capture the Fate Maker—the evil puppet master responsible for the conflict—before he can find another army willing to return him to power. On top of it all, Allie is just a normal teenager. Her feelings are growing for the guy she’s certain is her true love, and balancing her personal life while being the queen isn’t as easy as it sounds. Allie must learn the true meaning of bravery, love, and kinship, regardless of the world—and danger—around her.
The kingdom of Nerissette is finally at peace. After multiple battles, Queen Allie just might have the time to start building a relationship with the dragon next door, Winston, before her sixteenth birthday. But unrest is forming at the borders and soon she realizes that it’s not just the Fate Maker who wants to take her crown, but her aunt, Queen Bavasama.
When Bavasama sends her troops over the border into Nerissette on a campaign of mass destruction, Allie has to decide whether or not she’s willing to bring her battle-scarred country back to war.
She can’t take the chance of letting more people die, or letting those she’s lost disappear from memory.

She must survive long enough to save her country and, in the end, decide what she will do when faced with a final, horrible series of choices.
